What’s hot one minute is passé two minutes later. In the entertainment industry in general, trends are so fickle.
They’ve either reinvented themselves or did something to stay current and relevant. Tony Salerno: I admire guys who have been in the industry for a long time. The Otter: Is there anyone in the industry, past or present, that you admire or are inspired by? A ton of squats, lunges, and dead-lifts later, I finally grew a booty! Haha If I wore a jock, the straps would sadly dangle in the breeze with nothing to keep them taut. Up until my mid 30's, I had no butt at all.
The butt compliments are rather amusing to me. I dunno…I have good triceps and lats, I guess? I’m not good about bragging about myself. The Otter: What part of your body do you find sexiest? What part do you find others to be drawn to? I realize getting into the business at my, ahem, advanced age means my shelf life isn’t too long, but I’m having fun in the process, enjoying things as they come (pun slightly intended). I’m grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been given so far. The rest, as they say, is history (albeit, a short history). I remember seeing something on Twitter about looking for guys 35+ and I sent a message. This year I told myself I was going to try things I never thought I would do…and here I am talking to you! I started doing web cam shows about a year ago. Basically, I’ve spent much of my engineering career making other people rich, and making myself slightly miserable in the process. I filmed my first scene in late July (with Adam Russo in His Daughter's Boyfriend 2, pictured below). The Otter: When did you become interested in working in the industry? How did you get started in the adult industry? At the end of the day, I’m a geeky engineer who stumbled into the adult industry. Do or say something bad about them and you’ll get to see my temper (doesn’t happen often, but when it does, run away!). People that know me know that I’m very loyal I will go to the ends of the earth to be there for a friend. I’m an "outgoing introvert" which means I can be the ‘life of the party’ for about 2 hours then must retreat to my comfort zone in a quiet place! Haha. For whatever reason, people often interpret that as I’m stuck up or snotty or above it all. Tony Salerno: So this is an interesting question…Honestly, I’m fairly shy at first.
The Otter: How do you think people see you? Describe yourself, and how you present yourself to the world. I was voted most likely to succeed/most intelligent! Haha. Sure, I was teased a bit by a few guys, but nothing like the horror stories I’ve heard about kids getting bullied. I was never a popular kid, but for the most part, I got along with pretty much everyone. I played basketball freshman and sophomore years, then ended up in choir the second half. I was sort of a chameleon in high school. Tony Salerno: I grew up in a smaller town…fairly Italian (if your last name didn’t end with a vowel, there was something odd about you! Haha.). The Otter: What was your adolescent experience like? Did you grow up in the country, the city, were you shy, outgoing, angry…indifferent? Recently news around the office has been circulating that Tony is coming back to the screen. He's relatively new to the scene, debuting with Icon Male this past summer and has been on The Otter's radar ever since. Today Tony Salerno has dropped by for an interview with our resident fur ball The Otter to answer some of those burning questions we at have been just itching have answered.
